Agri-Food Pilot
This is a 3-year pilot program designed to address labour shortages in the Canadian agri-food industry. The most demand is for meat processing and mushroom production. This program gives you the opportunity to gain experience and work towards become a permanent resident and citizen in Canada. More details on the process will be available in March 2020.

The eligible industries and occupations for this program are:

To be eligible, you must also have:

Qualifying work experience

must be in an eligible industry and occupation​

minimum 1 year of non-seasonal work experience (total 1,560 hours) in the last 3 years
