1.1 Eligibility

 

To immigrate to Canada as a self-employed person, you must:

​

• have relevant work experience

  • taken part or been self-employed in cultural activities or​ athletics at a world-class level

  • minimum 2 years of experience in the last 5 years

• have the willingness and ability to continue being self-employed in Canada

• meet the selection criteria and conditions

  • score a minimum score of 35 points on the self-employed point system​

  • medical exam, police certificates, and proof of funds
